A Merzouga family, a fleet of quads and one desert
We are not an agency reselling somebody else's tour. The quads are ours, the guides are from here, and the person answering your WhatsApp message is the same person who will hand you a helmet.
Merzouga Quads grew out of something simple: visitors kept asking our family for a way to see Erg Chebbi that was quicker than a camel and closer to the sand than a 4x4. We bought two quads, learned to maintain them properly in a place where sand gets into everything, and built the routes we would want to ride ourselves.
Today we run guided tours every day of the year, from a first hour on the dunes to half-day rides out to the nomad camps and Khamlia. The fleet is checked between departures, and no group leaves without a briefing.
We keep prices per quad rather than per person because that is what is honest: a couple sharing a double quad uses one machine and pays for one machine. What we quote on WhatsApp is what you pay at the end.

We stay on established tracks, take our rubbish out and keep away from grazing and nesting areas.
